From a Traditional Tub and Shower to a Light, Inviting Space
Soft green tile, natural-looking texture and a lighter vanity give this hall bathroom a fresh feel. We replaced the original tub-and-shower combination with a glass-enclosed shower, creating a space where the finishes are part of the view.
The Before
The original bathroom featured a tub-and-shower combination and a dark wood vanity. The new design gave us an opportunity to bring the different areas of the room together with a softer, more cohesive palette.
The Vision
We brought together gentle color, light finishes and organic texture. Green shower tile sets the palette, while pebble-look details add contrast. A light vanity and illuminated mirror carry that brighter feel through the room.
The Transformation
A shower that opens up the view
Replacing the tub-and-shower combination with a glass-enclosed shower changes the feel of the bathroom. The glass keeps the tile visible and allows the soft green color to become a focal point.
The combination of smooth tile and pebble-look texture gives the shower depth without overwhelming the room. A built-in niche provides a dedicated spot for everyday essentials.
A lighter vanity area
The new light-colored vanity offers a fresh contrast to the original dark cabinetry. Its softer finish complements the shower tile and brings the room together.
Above the vanity, an illuminated mirror adds a clean, modern detail and a gentle glow. Together, the vanity and mirror create a bright focal point that balances the texture of the shower.
The Result
This hall bathroom now feels lighter, calmer and more connected. The glass-enclosed shower, soft green palette and updated vanity give it a distinct character, with thoughtful details for everyday use.
